Howa dojn lads, iv been going to the gym for 2 years now. Been in jackie skellysd for 1 year and am now in peak helth for the past year and abit. Problem is I do alot of weight training and still find it very hard to put on weight. I try and eat properly but as you proberly know its hard for a 18 year old to keep to a strict diet. Is there any other things I should be doing to gain weight, without taking those protein shakes..... Im about 11 stone now......

Chears in advance for all replys.
    Jason

    What is your diet?

What is your weekly exercise (weights & cardio)?

    What height/weight are you?

I'ts gonna be a lot to do with workout routine, diet and rest, if you could post up some stuff on each that'd be great.

Try and eat alot of chicken, and beef.
All weights very very little cardio, I mainly do 8 reps of a high weight and try and mix up the exercises alittle so my muscles dont get too used to a single workout.
    Im 5.8 and 11 stone....

just eat more and dont worry about eating healthy stuff the whole time
At 18, your potential for growth is at its maximum, if i were you, i would just shoot for 200g protein per day and stuff your face.

That's great. it's common also to do a three day or four day routine. Leaving days free to recover and build tissue. What are you doing at the mo?

You dont need a very strict diet. Just try eat clean most of the time.

I would guess that you are not eating enough or not training hard enough/clever enough or both.
