    Hi all,

My dad was out playing yesterday and he took a shot from the rough and his ball went into a bunker (clearly not the best player) and hit one of the other lads balls which then came out of the bunker resultng in both balls being on the green!

So my dad just asked me to try find out what happens here if anything at all??

    Cheers!

As far as I'm aware, (and please correct me if I'm wrong) both players continue from where the ball ends up, in this case with some good fortune on the green! If it had happened on the green, with your Dads ball hitting another ball on the green, the first ball would have to be replaced as close to where it originally lay whereas your Dads ball is left wherever it ended up, assuming he took his shot from off the green.

Your dad gets the luck as he plays from where he ended up but he has to replace his mates balls where it was in the bunker.
