Not sure if this is a runner or not (excuse the pun)

Just back from a run and as with most runs the mind ponders.

Well one ponder that came to me was Stats of the people that have already completed the 1000 mile challange.
    The stats I'm interested are

    Age:
    Married/relationship: yes or no
    Kids: if yes how many.
Other activities at moment: i.e if working do you attend collage in the evening of vic versa.
DO you run on your own or with other(s)

I be esp interested to hear from the top 10 but would also like to hear from people just like me.

    Age: 33
    Married/relationship: yes or no
    Kids: 3
Other activities at moment: work & attending collage during evenings and have been for last 10 years kinda addictive like the running.
DO you run on your own or with other(s): yes always on my own:( since i started running 2 years when I finally gave up on the soccer and rugby I have only ever met 2 people going in same direction as me.

    Since 2007 I completed 5 marathons and 1 10k

I'd like to see how I am really fairing.

If there are other questions relevent please add them.

    Thanks

    B

Back running 1.5yrs, have run 18 races this year.
Running is priority #3 in my life after, family and work and planning for me is critical - that normally means being in work (or starting work) between 7am and 7:30 (I'm lucky to have the flexibility), so I can finish at 5ish get the running done, be a Daddy between 7pm and 8:30, then be a Husband, the do some email and start all over again.

Do you run on your own or with other(s)? 70:30 Own:Others Would prefer to run more with others but it's just handier running from home on your own if you're pushed for time.

Been running consistently for about 12 months now. I'll never be very fast or win any races but I enjoy everything about it. I'd actually run more miles if I thought my legs could handle it.

In the past 12 months I've ran 1 marathon, 2 halfs, 3 10ks and a 5k. I've improved a fair bit this summer which is only right as I've trained a lot.

Oh and i'd recommend P&D marathon training plans for those who have done a marathon already. Find them great and enjoy the variety.

    Other activities at moment
: All work related. The running is the only thing that keeps me vaguely sane.

DO you run on your own or with other(s): 3 runs a week with company, 2 on my own.

2009 - About 8 races - 10k to half marathon in the Spring. Summer off due to work. Autumn marathon.

    Married/relationship: Married

    Kids: 3 boys (aged 5, 7, 9)

Other activities at moment: Not much time for anything between work, family and running. Got a new bike recently so hope to use it for cross training.

DO you run on your own or with other(s): Reckon about 2/3s of runs are solo and the others are with friends etc. But through the Boards network and email I feel I benefitted from sharing details of my running this year.

2009: 2 marathons this year, inc. a PB in my last (18th marathon for me in total). Also PBed in 10k. Ran a hatful of hill runs which has benefitted my other running generally.
