external hard drive -needed

hi all, my laptop has gone very slow, i have been advised to buy a external hard drive to store my photos etc, can you help as to what the cheapest options are and wheres best in cork city to get them please:)

You'll get a reasonable iomega external drive in Soundstore on Oliver Plunkett street. You should be able to get a 1TB for around €100. Of course you'll get cheaper online from the like of Komplett.ie 1TB drives

you might not even need 1TB ..... how big is your hard drive ? and how often do you add pics to it ?

500GB hard drive might be enough - for now.

I clear my computer off every month - and I have about 5TB of images.
