Electric or manual? I'm asking as if the left wing is manual it'll involve leaning over the tester to adjust it.
Anyway, adjust it before the test (dodging the question).

This is a good setting in my opinion

you can adjust them before you start manouvre but make sure you put the back up before u drive off again
