Yesterday when I was heading to work the top third of the car key just broke in the ignition. I'm not sure what happened, I wasn't doing anything different to how I normally start but it happened and now I need to sort replacing the key. I got the broken bit of key out of the ignition thankfully and there is a spare key [at my mums which is an hour drive away and shes gone to spain but sure I'll manage for a few days] but was wondering to get a new key who do I go to? It's a land rover discovery so can I go to the local land rover dealer? Is it going to take ages....I have both piecs of the key but I assume they can't just cut a new one like a house key.
