Windows - Into Timberframe or Blockwork

    Hi,

I have been given the choice of either mounting my windows into the timberframe or into the blockwork.
What are the advantages/disadvantages of each way?

If I decide to put them into the timberframe, should I wait until the external blockwork is complete or should I do it before then?

If this is a stupid question, then sorry in advance!

    Mike..

Norm is to fit window flush with the inner face of the block to close the cavity. Have seen windows fitted in the tf using cavity closer rendered to form outer reveal. Never heard of fitting windows in the block though, imagine that could be a significant cold bridge.
