    Hello people i was just wondering how i would approach putting my videos and stuff through my TV, there is no hdmi out as i foolishly found after i bought one convinced i had one(was not near the laptop at the time).Anyways i have 15 pin female connector could i possibly get a male to scart type thing?The TV is a lg lcd has connections for everything at the back:D

    GET as vga to vga cable ,plug it in.SET pc res to 1024x768.REFRESH rate 50 or 60mhz,or read tv manual re pc tv resolution, most tvs support only 3 resolutions 4 vga in,otherwise you get a flikering/distorted picture from the pc.
    Google pc to tv vga setup.
    OR try 720x576 res first to get started,thats standard dvd resolution.
    DIFFERENT res settings use either 50 or 60mhz refresh rate.
    ANY random resolution could DAMAGE the tv tube.SO BE VERY CAREFUL.
