When will we ever get a Bill Bailey or Billy Connelly month?

    God yet again Comedy Central are having a Lee Evan month. How many times a year do they have these? Now i don't really mind Lee but i'm sick of seeing him constantly on comedy central. So I thought why not have a month dedicated to other comedians such as Bill Bailey or Bill Connelly.

    ha lee evans again!! he must have some deal giving them his footage for free. He seems to be on every couple of months!

    Lee Evans was great in Mouse Hunt but then again that was scripted.

    Billy Connolly on the other hand creases me up, definitely the better comedian.

    I don't think it's even that he appeals to a wider audience. He throws some filth out in some of his shows. My vote goes for "cozy relationship".

    Billy Connolly would be brilliant.

    Saw Michael McIntyre and Dylan Moran recently too... Amazing!

    I cant stand Lee Evans!!! Ive never seen a comedian who needs to wear anti-perspirant on his face so much as him. He exhausts me just lookin at him!

    +1 for Billy C-legend seen him last year in the NHC

    Lewis Black, Dennis Leary etc rarely seen on this side atlantic. Peter Kay i like. Never got Lee Evans,especially in "something about Mary" :confused:

    Connoly is great too , catch him on DAVE doing his world tour. Was better back in the day , too sober and hollywood these days.

    if people want to see a billy connolly month could you please spell his name right!

    lee evans has his contract with comedy central/paramount so they have the licence to all his shows so its cheap for them to play them all regularly, bill bailey or billy connolly would cost them an arm and a leg and it wouldnt be worthwhile for them to show them!

    although if they would be a nice change of pace.....to see a funny comedian for a change!

    Lee Evans is seriously unfunny....I don't how he is still doing shows and still on TV because all he does is stutter and sweat profusely on stage.

    That aside, I flew out to glasgow on saturday to see Billy Connolly play, and he was brilliant.
