    Hi guys what does this mean height by width or the other way around

    (11.25" x 8.5")

    depends what its for.

    if you are cutting a rectangular piece of ply it does not matter as you can turn it.

    if it was a couch you could assume the longest side is the lenght.

    its just a poster. 11.5 is on both but then you have 8.5 or 17.3

    well in the case.

    i would say in that case then that in the first one

    the 11x8 is height by width ( where 11 is the height)

    then in the second the 17x11 height by width ( where 17 is the height)

    this is providing that the poster is in portrait format not landscape.

    now this is an educated guess.

    ( the way i figure is that its nearly the same ratio . height / width. so is it the same poster just bigger?)
