Getting Ripped Off

I could really do with some help here. I’m driving a 2002 Nissan Primera (new type) and I need to get a window regulator for the front driver side window. I’ve been searching around and the cheapest I can find it for it 300euro.

If anybody could recommend anywhere that they think might be cheaper that would be great. Or even good scrap yards around that might have one. I'm also in Dublin so ideally around there . Thanks guys.

hey Absurdum thanks for the quick reply, i just tried them there but no luck, they dont stock the part and cant even get it new. If anyone else has any suggestions that would be great .

try traynors in armagh. they deliver to dublin a couple of times a week afaik.

Just remember that while the used unit from a scrappy may be cheaper initially, it is as likely to fail as the original unit that failed in your car OP. You may end up replacing it only a few months down the line again.

I had this dilemma not too long ago, and in the end I stumped up for the new unit, because the risk of a recon unit failing only months after being fitted was too much.

Alright no probs. Didn't mean it as sarcastically as it appeared. I know Nissan and Renault have teamed on cars before just thought you might've known something I didn't.
