Sister in law still using old blue card, lost new white replacement card and hasn't gotten around to ringing sky.
How long will she have left before the blue card is cancelled??
It must be nearly 6 weeks since the white card arrived.

    Cheers

From October according to the sky website. At this stage the old card will probably die before she gets a new one I don't think there is long left on these cards.

The new cards need activation. You have to phone a UK phone number.

I just stuck mine in the box (Sky HD) and away she went. That was about two months ago.

Same here when I finally got the replacement. The last one they sent out would not authorise and needed to be replaced as it could not be activated.

Yeah mine was just a simple swop over.
Worked grand, same pin number too.
I'll get her to buzz sky tonight.
    Cheers for the info lads.

Got my white card activated today.

It now works in any box.

My old blue card claimed to have entitlements up to four weeks when I received my new white card.
It did not last that long. In a matter of days it was gone.
Very unlikely those cards will last till november. Just a small period of grace for purpose of switchover.

Have my new white card in my Sky box and my old blue card in a dreambox upstairs.
    No need for multiroom .
