Apparently this is happening Tuesday 6th October? I'm trying to find out how to get tickets (my friend heard a band she likes is playing in it and she's desperate to go) but the ENTs website is unsurprisingly **** and I can't find any mention of anything much past Freshers' Fest. Anyone get any mailout information about it, or know any details? Like where it's on, when tickets are on sale, how much they are etc...?

Actually so was I....what a waste of money and a night that was. Do you'ze reckon Tinchy Strider will actually show up for this? Did he give any reason as to why he pulled out of the ucd one? I was pissed off even though I don't particularly like him.

Is this a full formal, black-tie, bring date and all event or a more casual one?

Ball is a bit of a misnomer. It's just a regular night out with a couple of bands and it's more expensive.

    Enjoy.

    So true...I wish I had my €20 back :(
Literally no chance of selling it on anyway

In my defence, I would have been the only one in my apartment not going had I not bought a ticket...I'm sure it'll be fun though...I hope so :o

Doesnt seem to be much "buzz" going on around this from what I can tell.
It was only mentioned once amongst my group of friends and I havent heard many people talking about it generally..

I may have photographed you (nope, I'm not a stalker - but the photographer with the law soc t-shirt on last night). My equipment managed to survive the beer anyway thankfully.

I'll be putting up the photos of the night up soon on my site (which is then looked at by the SU) - here are some small samples to whet your appetite (downsized and otherwise unprocessed).

Hope you guys had fun. It was an interesting gig to shoot.

And as for the Freshers - seeing all those young faces make me feel quite old now :(

I didn't think it was great; basically kept getting whacked or trampled by annoying drunk screaming fans.. the bouncer's face was priceless at all the insane fans. Was quite funny.

Lost my iPod, my wallet with €200 in it, gave a taxi driver €50 instead of €10 due to drunkeness, got crowd surfed out of the yoke and as a result got thrown out by a príck of a bouncer and missed most of Tinchy, ended up sprawled out on the gound outside the club balling my eyes out like a little bítch while barely conscious and woke up with blood all over my hand and two swolen knuckles.........quite an eventful night I had.

I wouldn't have thought it was a word either but according to dictionary.com it is an adverb... Link

Google just brings up regardless as the word. Link

    What a doozy!
