Anyone else feel that those bonus stages are painfully long and boring?! I'm gonna get sick of them real soon
Single player gets boring so quickly anyway that it wont matter :pac:

I'll have a flash kick which goes in the right direction, stuffs jumping ks, and a workable ultra please.

Not a chance. All of Guiles power comes from his inert boringness as a character to play against.

Isn't the airthrow more than enough?

Not really, especially not when you have charge for a FK, you wait for a shoto to leap over you and then flash in the wrong direction.

Air throw's only really good when you have space.

    I was joking :)

Anyway wouldn't guile matches be less entertaining if we couldn't laugh at when auto correct goes on vacation and sends guile in completely the wrong direction?

Adons special jump from the wall into kick is very fast. Hopefully they unnerf Vega by giving him far more useful and fast wall jump specials.

Street fighter: Continuing the tradition of giving people who have no idea what they're doing, a chance to test the game and look like tools!

I though that was Tekken with Christie/Eddie button mashing?

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 54,091 CMod ✭✭✭✭Retr0gamer

No. In tekken even a retard mashing buttons with those two characters will look impressive and win matches. You can't mash buttons in street fighter, you'll look like a tool as stated.

Probably the correct approach to take as well. Dave Sirlin did it with HDRemix and nobody had any complaints about his methodoligy.

Loads of people have complaints about that game.

    game.

    Two different things mate :)

Either way, it's nonsense. There will be buffs and nerfs. They just wont call them nerfs. That way, the fanboys won't get their knickers in a twist. The top players will notice, but its joe public that gets the sales figures up..... and joe public is stupid.

    He told me so! :p

That's how stoopid he is.

In other news, I hear Joe Public is a Sagat player :p

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,047 ✭✭✭✭K.O.Kiki

    Now now.
    Let's be fair.
    Joe Public ONLY plays Ken/Ryu.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,678 ✭✭✭D4RK ONION

No no, that's Joe Soap, he doesn't know there are other characters, and he's happy when a hadoken magically flies out from his incredible mashing skills!

Is that a young Makoto with her face obscured in the Korea stage?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,237 ✭✭✭Owwmykneecap

No its just a girl in a tkd gi.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,005 ✭✭✭Creature

Yeah if its Korea then its more than likely Taekwondo which Mokoto is not a practicioner of unless I'm mistaken.

I really like the look of that construction/Metro City stage. It really reminds of he old SF Alpha 2 stages, in particular Rolento's elevator skyscraper stage.

I get the bad felling thats all there is though :/

Hope thats not final. Don't like that character selection format at all.

Still, 35 characters. Probably hard to fit them all in there and make it look good.

    char select looks terrible

Agreed but,you try and come up with a way to fit 35 characters into one screen, (thats not like a Tekken type select screen)... Hard business.

Plus I heard all the characters are available from the first play, no unlocking needed.
