Engineering Degree

    I finished school over 10 years ago and have not done much since. I'm considering applying for an Engineering degree with the Open University (I work shift). My question is: should I repeat my Leaving Cert? If so what subjects should I study (Physics, Maths, Applied maths??)

    I have heard the open uni is quite felxible and it works on a points/credit system you can choose your subjects, if so just start it and ease your self into the maths, but be warned expect A LOT OF MATH.

    it would be worth doing at least a refresher course.

    Alot has changed in 10 years. Alot has changed in the 5 years since I've left college

    Maths is the only subject I liked so hopefully Engineering will suit me. Thanks for your time.
