19" 3403 models

    Hi guys, I'm advising a friend who wants to buy a 19" LCD for his barge on the Shannon, I'm telling him he needs to buy a model with a DTT tuner. The 3403D models have three variations but unlike the bigger models the spec. sheets make no mention of the MPEG standard they support, they just say DVB-T.

    Can you give me a quote for a 19" 3403 which can receive UHF, VHF and DTT MPEG4 please.

    p.s. the 42PFL8404 I bought from Ash a few weeks ago rocks!

    Thnaks a million for the post and I'm glad that your 8404 'rocks' ! (we did tell you it was great....)

    Anyway, there is no 3403 variant with MPEG4 and the 3404 again is a 'd' model (basically a UK model) If you need something with MPEG4 you could go for the LG19LH2000 at £179.95 / €209.99 which has MPEG2/4 support.

    That unit is available ex stock so if you need on just drop me a line & I'll get you sorted,

    Thanks, that was a mistype on my part, I meant to ask about the 3404, I have a 19" 3403 in my bedroom.

    I looked at the specs. for the LG but there's no mention of UHF/VHF, does the 19LH2000 support analog? My friend spends most of his time on Lough Derg so needs to pickup the VHF and UHF analog signals from Maghera.

    Yep,

    does indeeed - it's got everything (well no freesat :( ) but it will do whatever your friend needs to enable him to watch the TV whilst he is running aground etc!
