    Hello everyone.

I recently bought a ps3 slim and i am quite pleased with it. I was wondering, does any of you know any place/site where i can get cheap games?

If you do know, post it below so that it will be benefitial for everyone.

Here are the ones that i know of

    Websites

    1) Ebay- If you spend some research, you will get cheap games. For instance i got a used batman arkham asylum game ( it looks perfectly new) for just 23 euros and that includes the posting charge as well

    2) Play.com- not the best, but you might get offers if you are lucky.

    Retailers

    1) HMV- I think HMV has the best offers for used games when it comes to retailers in Ireland. Their 2 for 20 is pretty decent.

    Drop in your suggestions.

www.cdwow.ie (if u sign up on there site they give a 2 euro or 3 euro off vouchers nearly every week:D)
www.videogamesplus.ca ( Canadian site but very efficient service)
www.gamesnash.ie ( the most expensive site of all but extremely fast delivery)

Any idea how cdwow are these days regarding pre orders and delivery time? I can get MW2 for 48.99 from the site if I want, but have to order before Monday. This is a great price, so if they are good re getting games to customers by release date, I'd be interested in buying from them.

Just noticed I can also get Uncharted for 42.99, and PES 10 for 39.99. Hmmm, very tempted. That price goes for almost every pre-order actually!

You can get PES 10 for €36 delivered and Uncharted for €41 delivered from www.sendit.com (free shipping)

They may even have another -10% discount offer before both of them are released, so you could save a bit more.

*Their delivery times are good too btw.

Not on Killzone 2 it wasn't. About 10 days after it was released here, IIRC......

They have some great prices, just not the quickest around, I have found. Mind you, what I saved on KZ2 made it well worth it - it was a little over half price against some shops. There was another poster on here who was waiting an age for his too, so I'd say they couldn't get their hands on stock - I should have checked the posted date.

I don't have any additions to the list, but I have a question...

I'm looking to trade in the free copy of Mirror's Edge I got with the PS3 last week (already had it on 360) and possibly buy LittleBigPlanet used at the same time.

Is one place better than others for this? I realise I won't get too much for ME (?)
How about Blu-Ray movie trade-ins? I don't fancy watching Hancock (came with the PS3 too, at Xtravision).

I'm thinking if I could trade in both those and get a used LBP 'free' it'd be a good deal. Where should I look?

Yeah, you would just download the DLC from the US psn store in that case.

Gunther, ring gamestop and they will give you the value for the game and blu-ray over the phone, also try extravision.

Gamestop had an offer on the go where some games, LBP was one of them, were €5 if you traded in another PS3 game against it. I am not sure if there was a restriction on what games you could trade in.

Uncharted 2 is out in the US 10 days before here and is fairly cheap on videogamesplus
