Going unreg for this one. 19 yr old male. This morning me and my girlfriend had unprotected sex and she's not on the pill. Stupid move on both of our behalves. We know we shouldn't have done it and she's off to get the morning after pill asap. Anyway, does anyone have any experience with how effective this is, especially as she'll hopefully take it only a few hours after we had sex. Also, can someone tell me how much it costs and where the best place to get it is? Thanks in advance for an replies.

You need prescription, very effective within first 12 hours, decreases from there, not great at all after 72 hours. Get it soon, it's pretty cheap but the GP will charge for consultation. It's a bloody rip off that.

Should be fine man it's pretty damn effective but do it sooner than later for peace of mind.

    Wherabouts are ye?

If Dublin IFPA in Cathal Brugha St -you can get the MAP consultation for €50. Don't pay seperately for a doc consult and chemist, get it all under one roof if you can. Cheaper.

As long as she takes it within the 72 hours (sooner the better) should be ok.

GET MONEY from somewhere. MAP is much cheaper than a baby etc !

One night of action and a MAP = €50

One night of action and 18+ years of bringing up a child: PRICELESS!

Pool your cash and learn from it.

    Good Luck.
