Hello, we're in the middle of applying for our house to be included in the RAS (Rental Accommodation Scheme) with Fingal County Council. The house is a 3 bed semi and they're offering us €900 a month for it. Just wondering if this is the current going rate or should we try to negotiate a better rate? Also, does anyone know…

Hello, we're in the middle of applying for our house to be included in the RAS (Rental Accommodation Scheme) with Fingal County Council.

The house is a 3 bed semi and they're offering us €900 a month for it. Just wondering if this is the current going rate or should we try to negotiate a better rate?

Also, does anyone know exactly when payments to us start? Is it from when the Council formally agree to take the house into the scheme or from the date they secure tenants for the house?
