    I have recently purchased a Citreon Xsara 1.6 Forte W reg (2000) model with only 30k and full service history. It drives great and i am pleased as i wanted a runner to get to and throw to work after selling my Mini Cooper. A bit of a come down, but nevermind. But now getting an annoying problem with it

    The problem is that when the car is left, for example overnight or when i leave for work after a shift that it starts fine and straight away, but when i pull to a stop and go to pull away again (like at lights) that the revs drop and stall. I have to keep the revs up and level the clutch so i dont stall and annoy other drivers behind me. after about a mile or a couple of minutes it is fine and does not stall after a stop.

    The car was serviced last in 2008 and only 5000 miles ago. Anyone have any ideas as to whether its a sensor or something causing it
