So it was working fine yesterday and then today I go to use it and I get this error message

I don't remember exactly but some thing like:

    CoreGraphics.dll missing

Before this happened ( don't know if it is even related) I uninstalled some lg drivers from my computer and the lg suite and mcfee virus scan (don't know where that one came from).

So I thought I would do system restore, after the restore I now get the message iTunes stopped working.

Reinstalling iTunes didn't help and also reinstalling Quicktime did nothing.

I'm on Vista 64 bit and insight would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: Just remembered that I uninstalled those LG drivers from my wife's xp lap top the other day as well and iTunes starts up just fine on it.

Well, some quick googling does show it's an Apple-related file so that probably explains why iTunes is looking for it. From what I can tell, Safari uses it too so try installing/re-installing Safari for Windows and see if that sorts it out...

Well I never had Safari installed in the 1st place.

Anyway I installed Safari and I still got that error, uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it and got an error message that itunes didn't install properly so I hit repair and got the CoreGraphics.dll error again.

I went into the Safari folder and copied the went to put it into the itunes folder and I have 3 of them in X86 iTunes, iTunes (8) and one called iTunes(88).

There is also an iTunes folder in the 64 bit programme folder.

I copied it into all of them and hit itunes and got another dll error WebKit.dll, and then another JavaScriptCore.dll and so on.

I don't know what the hell is going on. I wouldn't care but I need iTunes for my iPhone.

Damn blast it all to hell!!!

I followed Apples support to remove itunes and QuickTime and reinstall them, after I install iTunes I get an error message that iTunes didn't install properly.

I hit repair and then get the blasted error message of CoreGraphics.dll was not found, iTunes was not installed correctly please reinstall iTunes error 7.
