Have one ready for delivery today to a customer. Have a few on the road.

It's the same spec as the Zetec was, with the same engine. Nice spec and the engine is fairly good.

Only a 5 speed box with extended ratio's and a smaller fuel tank than the standard model. Comes as standard with hub caps rather than Alloys, but you can add the alloys for around €750.

There is a rumour that Ford are bringing in a low emissions 2.0Tdci version of the Mondeo in the New Year. I'm fairly sure the one I have was the last unregistered model in stock in the country and fresh orders now will be Jan 2010 so it might be worth holding out for info on the new 2.0Tdci version.

I was looking at one of these too, the suspension is slightly lowered and the ride isnt quite as good as standard car, its also missing the spare wheel though not all standard Mondeo's have that anyway. Having said that its economical though due to the 5 speed box you have to try a little harder to stay in torque

The 2.0 is out in the U.K. and has 115bhp versus 125bhp in the 1.8. Oddly its also more expensive even though the emissions are roughly the same
