Another Wisdom teeth question!!

    Hey,
I was scheduled to have my wisdom teeth out in December, but in the last fortnight they have been absolutely killing me, so I called and had my appointment moved forward a month, which is the soonest they could do it. They have started to hurt bad, so I am using syndol by day and over the counter sleeping tablets at night, but I can barely eat and I keep waking up at night with the pain. Should I consider a different surgeon, so I can get them out sooner? Or would I be able to get some hardcore pain relief in the meantime? Any advice is welcome!!
    Cheers :pac:

I'm getting all 4 wisdom teeth out with a general anaestetic on Monday.

If you have private health insurance and don't mind paying an excess I've found you can have it done within a week or two of having the consultation.

I have private health insurance and have to pay the following $150 initial consultation (50% back from insurance at end of year), $125 excess for private hospital and then $80 (50% back end of year). I've been having trouble since the summer and to get it sorted quickly is well worth the $355 initial outlay.

Let me know if you want the surgeon's name and number by PM.
