Does anyone know if Nestle chocolate bars are suitable for vegetarians?

all obtained from a link which isn't valid anymore http://www.nestle.co.uk/Nutrition/EatingHealthier/Food+Facts.htm but it must have a new place on the net...

As you can see from sweet-rasmus' link, most Nestle chocolate bars are vegetarian friendly.

However, you might want to boycott Nestle on the grounds that they are a grossly unethical and corrupt corporation which takes advantage of people in the third world. They sell their products to under-educated women in developing countries, convincing them that Nestle baby food is better for their babies than breast milk.

    Read more about it here:

It is also alleged that Nestle chocolate is made using cocoa from African farms which exploit children for labour. I do not know if this goes on anymore, as the last I heard about it was about a year ago when they were supposed to be facing lawsuits.

ah, i think i vaguely remember hearing something about this in the past. makes me sad :(

i guess that's why i'm happy to spend the money on Divine fair trade chocolate. i'm hoping that this chocolate should have a good background and i'm happy to support them.
