the only difference is the ambi light and the net gadgets?

    Hi Wook

    In a nutshell yes!
The 8 series adds the NET TV functions and Ambilight to the spec for the 7 Series.

As far as Image is concerned both TV's are the same.
If the TV is wall mounted I'd say yep, Ambilight realy adds a bit of drama to what ever is on screen.

Both are excellent TV's, as you'll see from the MANY MANY happy Boardies who have bought them from us over the last couple of months.

    PRICING
    Boardies special pricing is.
42PFL7404 yours for €810 inc 3 year warranty
42PFL8404 yours for €900 inc 4 year warranty

    how does that sound??

    Thanks for you questions
    cheers

    Thanks for the quick reply!
except its a tiny bit more expensive then the komplett price.
Is this warrenty added to the price, if so would it be cheaper without? and just have the standard warrenty?

actually for the few euro more having three years warranty is a good deal compared to the komplett one.

    Hi Wook

Ahh, we are €106 cheaper on the 8404!
and only €3.01 more expensive on the 7404 but they dont give you 3 years warranty (which is free with us)

I guess you did say tiny bit more though eh:)

    Hi Wook.

Just got my 8404 last week and everyone who sees it is amazed by the ambilight. Most impressively, my wife's sisters who came to call were bowled over, and they will admit themselves that it doesn't matter to them whether the watch on a 42"HD tv or a 14"CRT with bad reception:eek: Mind you, it isn't just for the ladies. It looks really cool and adds to the film or whatever your watching and is easier on the eyes.

My TV is sitting in a corner, The edges is about 100mm from each of the walls and the effect is still brilliant. Sitting in the dark, switch off the ambilight and you effectively are watching a 7404, but with a sense of loss:(. TV itself is excellent. You'll enjoy it anyway.

    Best of Luck.

    Wook,

I also got an 8404 and the Ambilight is unexpectedly very good. Not that you'd have it on watching the news, but for a movie night in, with the lights out, its pretty cool.
