    :cool:Hi guitar people,
I,m back on again to torment you for more expert advice,i am learning to play acoustic and have been playing at home on and off about 1 year,i might invest in a nice electric without spending a fortune [ around 300.00 euro ].. I like the look of HAMER SATQ-HB electric guitar and now also IBANEZ ART 120L elect guitar both around same price, which is the better guitar of these two,to buy and why...Also whats a good amp to buy thats a reasonable price,i already have a fame 60watt acoustic amp for my elect-acoustic so could i use this to play the electric through or would the sound be crap...Is their a big difference going from playing acoustic to electric....The type of music i like is mainly blues, light rock etc, guns and roses,Bryan Adams,Dire Straits,Eric Clapton,AcDc,Status quo,Thin Lizzy,Stevie Wonder,a bit of everything really if its good....All advice welcome............Thanks........... I am also a lefty guitar player which limits my choice of guitars somewhat............

I think which is better is a tough one bcun, really no matter what we say it comes down to which one you are most comfortable with. Both have good (and very similar) specs- its the old stock answer but you really need to try them both out and see which floats your boat.
As far as amps go the world is your oyster. You're not going to get the best results playing through your accoustic amp, just like your accoustic wont sound great through a normal electric amp. Adverts.ie really is the place to hang out for an amp- decide do you want something bedroom friendly like a Line 6 Spider or a Roland MicroCube or maybe 'future-proof' your purchase and go for something a little higher up the food chain for when you develop your electric playing skills - for example theres a Randall 50 watt valve amp on there at a great price - they sound great even at bedroom levels. Time to get out there and try some stuff out!
