    Thrown away by Mayo. Had 3 great chances to win it in the final 5 minutes and wasted all. Have now lost the last 5 finals they were in. Woeful game.

    Ah give them a break. They are 17 year olds. I have often seen senior game much worse.

    Both teams were very equal but regardless of the bad passing etc.. some of the tackling, movement and more so some of the scores were absolutely top class. The ref didn't clamp down enough at the start but he let the game flow. The best team won and surely winning 18 out of 18 match's this year they should be contenders for team of the year.
    However some of the comments from the "analysts" were disgraceful. The game was competitive and to compare one of the Armagh boys to a rioter given the disturbances happening in his local town over the past few days is completely shocking and Brolly should issue a retractment and apology to the player and his family.

    I thought the referee was very hard on Mayo. He let a lot of tackles go and this did not suit Mayo. The tackling by some of the Armagh defenders was good but at times they were fouling Mayo players when they were in a good position and no free was given. The same happened with Armagh but to a much lesser extent. Great scores to win the game and in fairness to them all they are really only kids.

    Were we watching the same match? Both teams are well able to play (look at their semi-final performances). I play against a lot of average players (myself included) and I know they can play a lot better than that filth today. It was one terrible match and I will not pretend it wasn't for your satisfaction. It isn't a shame that barely a quarter of them will play senior though.
