Well done, I used to love those cars years ago when there were still plenty of them about. Would have loved one but they were well out of my bracket at the time. Got me thinking of the neighbours cars parked on our road when I was growing up, all in everyday use and in great shape, including a Morris Minor, Vauxhall Viva, Citroen DS, Austin A40,
Austin 1100, Opel Commodore, Mk 1 Cortina, Anglia..............(sigh)

    irish car alright

8666 ZO dublin reg is it ?

definatly got me work cut out with it , but the parts alone on it was to much to let it be crushed !

surely their is a load more cars daily that get crushed & a us lot on here could do with them .

    Well saved!

Would be great to see another Irish reg car back on the road!
I'm sure if it can be restored you (or another boardsie or totalopel head) can do it! Either way it's in safe hands now.

Hope you're not superstitous about the reg 8 '666' ZO?!;)

why not? if the car is passed it then why not, dont know why there is such a problem with racing cars in ireland, most lads over here would rather crush cars than let them be used for a bit of fun, we always sell what ever good parts we have on cars to restorers
