Ipoker. Help with new monitor please.

So i just bought a HD tv to act as a monitor and it works fine for every program ive thrown at it and internet browsing etc. But when i open up an Ipoker client it drags the pointer?arrow to the top left off the screen constantly. I tried unistalling etc any ideas greatly appreciated.
