Twin Tuner / Sky+ Query

I have 2 dishes pointing to 19.2 & 28.2 and have two receivers. I don't have a sky sub so just watch the FTA channels.

Would it be possible to use a twin tuner unit to replace the two receivers ? It would be nice to be able to free up some space and connections.

Edit: if this is feasible any recommendations for a cheap unit would be welcome. I don't need recording capabilities.

You could use any FTA box and a diseq switch to connect both dishes to the one box...Diseq switches are extremely cheap...they are used to combine the two dishes and send the signal down one cable...As you have a box for Astra 1 theres no reason you couldnt just add the diseq switch to your system and your done..

    Thanks.

I had it in my head that diseq was only for controlling motors - now I know better.

    Update:

I ditched the Sky box and the Comag and replaced them with a Foxsat Freesat HD & Diseqc switch - so I can now easily watch the UK FTA channels and the European FTA channels without having to switch boxes.

It's a nice neat box and a nice neat solution.
