    Anyone know the name of the book released a few months back, it's like a gamblers diary for a year, think an irish guy wrote it ???

    Free Money by Declan Lynch. I read about half of it and never got to finish it yet. Interesting enough so far.

    Cheers, must go find it now. Read a great book yesterday (couldn't put it down), its an autobiography of Patrick Vitch - he's a really famous gambler. Think the book is called enemy number one

    I'm half way through this Veitch book, it's only OK, bit dull just reading about how good he thinks he is. I know his record is extremely good but it's all a bit self perpetuating. Saying that I will finish it and I never finish books if I don't like them. I'm holding out for Chapter 25 where he discusses some betting theories, though as he prides himself on the importance of discretion throughout the book it's unlikely I will pick up anything lucrative!

    The criminal element to it was quite good, he describes vividly what its like to be on the run from scum.

    I read it. Its basically him gambling for a year and talking about gambling stories etc. If you're interested in gambling you'll like it.

    He tries to make money by backing short priced teams.

    That wasn't a book. That was just a story that was in the news of the world. Turned out to be a hoax. Total lies. There is a thread on here about it somewhere.
