I have began renting to a family claiming social welfare. They have asked for proof of ownership for the social welfare offices. What do i have to show to the Social Welfare?

A letter from your solicitor showing that they acted for you in the conveyance and that to their knowledge you are still on title is one possibility. A statement from your bank showing that you are payingh a mortgage on the property is another. A copy of the Land registry Folio is yet another. A letter from the management company showing that you are a shareholder and being invoiced for service charges is another. A phone call to the Welfare office should confirm which is acceptable.

the cheapest option is to just print off your Land Registry Folio or Registry of Deeds Folio.

It used to cost €2.50, not sure what it is now but probably not much more

Have used current rental property home insurance policy or PRTB document from last tenant. Both were acceptable.
