Surviving the recession was on tv3 tonight from 9-10pm. it focused on various people who gave their stories on how the resession has affected their lives in the past twelve months.
I thought it was a good show, nice to hear the stories of the person on the street, the media has been showing us all about the banks and NAMA etc the past few days, I found it nice to see the human side of life in Ireland.
it was presented by Brian o Donovan (think that was the name) if i remember correctly he also brought us "Lawless Ireland"-a program which i thought sensationalized drunken idiots bating the heads off each other.

It was on before, not to bad, I thought when he said that "domestic soccer was have a hard time during the recession" was very funny, since domestic soccer didn't do all that well during the good times. I think he is good but you are right Lawless Ireland was sensationalized.

Also thought it was bizzare that Brown Thomas sponsored the show

yeah, he also did a show focusing on what was basically pikey (being completely non-P.C.here) fighting in the middle of a bog didnt he?if i remember correctly it showed the same clip of a few punches being thrown every 5 minutes throughout the programme!
tonights show was nothing like that though, which was good to see.
wonder will the female sparky idea take off, i never thought women would be intimated by male sparkys coming into their homes?
the mobile coffey things looked good, id buy a coffey off them if they ever get lost and end up in galway(or dundalk!)

I thought I was bad about TV3. TBH I think he is one of their better presenters.
