    Makes no difference to the connection whether it is or isn't - it's digital.

    Don't be fooled by marketing ploys such as this, it makes no difference to the picture quality as p15574 said above.

    e.g. A HDMI cable for €5 will do the exact same job as a €100 HDMI cable.

    To me its a bad design - you have cables on opposite sides of the box and the IR receiver on the side. Whatever way you position it, either the IR wont work, or you'll be staring at cables!

    The "IR" on the side of the box is actually a socket that you plug the IR receiver into.. it's tethered..
