vSphere Install, Configure & Manage

    Howya lads,

    I'm considering doing the vSphere Install, Configure & Manage course over at commtech.ie. They have 20% off all vmware training if you book in Sept.
    I rang them and that course is €1840 atm

    Now, looks like I'll be paying for this out of my own pocket. I'm wondering if you guys think if the above is good value. Also, has anyone done the same and paid themselves?
    Have you seen any benifit with the certification on your cv?

    The above is for vSphere and not esx 3.5...the exam went live a couple of months ago I believe.
