Starting next wednesday 23rd September,
Aurora Cafe Bar on Dorset St. will be starting a 12 week run of the Irish Amateur Poker League with Poker in the Pub.

€10 entry, multiple tables and impromptu games on the night;
Free finger food and cheap drinks;
3btls Miller/Coors €10, pitchers €9.50, cocktails €5

Starts at 8pm, but come early to get the drinks in

You start with 2500 chips, and a token for 2500 more that can be used anytime after the first hand.

depending on how many people are there and how many go out before the break there might be an opportunity to buy-back and/or top-up.

also, if enough people go out early we can organise a side-game

Great game last night guys,
Congrats to Aidan and Darren on cashing, and to the rest of you who got into the points.

Only 3 points between the top 3 players, it's gonna be a close one

Next week is the last week in our first block of 4, top player wins entry to Irish Amateur Poker Tour in Kilarney.

Starting the following week we're gonna change format for 4 weeks and see how it goes; €25 freeze-out, still the same points up for grabs.

As always, first deal at 8pm, drinks promos all night, and free finger food.

This wednesday 21st October sees the start of the 2nd round of competition.

Another 4-week run and another chance to qualify for a place in Kilarney in 2010.
Same format, €10 buy-in, DC, 2500 chips plus 2500 more.

Drink promos and finger food as is the norm, starting at 8.30, hope to see some butts in seats.
