Just wondering if anyone else has experienced delays recently when ordering from CRC? Got an email from them last Wednesday (9th) confirming my order had been shipped. Still no sign of it though. Normally doesn't take this long.

been ordering a few bits and pieces over the last week or two and no problems (all small items though like saddle bag/ spare water bottle cage/ tubes etc) but no delay. Did you order a large item or have a large order? Drop them an email, always quick to respond

Is it something that went Parcelforce or was it Royal Mail?

I bought an MTB tyre and some oil of them last Tues evening 8th Sep. Received a confirmation mail on Wed morning 9th saying the order was shipping so was hoping to receive it on Fri but got it Mon 14th instead which was still quick enough.

It was just a few small items, arm-warmers, socks & a chain, selected the Royal Mail option as I usually do. I'll send them an email as suggested. Cheers.

    Kerchunk. Brain in gear.

There has recently been some industrial action at the Royal Mail. ISTR that there are 20 million items held up in London.

Not sure of the geographical scope how long it's been going on for, but this may explain why my recent PBK delivery took three weeks.

There has been strikes lately at Royal Mail so a backlog has developed. That's probably why you have delays.

Yeah my last order , 2 weeks ago took about 8 days to arrive . Very small package , but CRC are usually excellent on delivery times so I didn't read too much into it , maybe there's some small glitch in their system of late .

Always choose the 24hr :) Royal mail has no tracking.
