In all seriousness, does anyone actually use this for anything useful to do with the PS3?

The one single thing I've found to be good craic on PS Home is the poker games. The rest of it strikes me as just plain bland! Wandering around the red bull area doesn't strike me as fun compared to hitting 'quit' and playing fallout 3!

Any opinions? Am I missing something!?

It's still a beta ;) So it's not the full thing. Poker is a laugh though, the once time I played it

The novelty wore off very quickly. I still check to see what trailers they put up in the theatre every few weeks but other than that I never use it.

I think you have to be a bit simple to like it

I tried it recently. Went into RE5 area and had nothing to do. Then went into Resistance 2 area and played some terrible mini game.

Went back to the square part and it seemed like teenage boys trying to find girls online. Its like worse and boring parts of an mmo.

installed it (which took ages) loaded it up and set up a character (which took ages) wandered around between some of the different areas (the loading of which too ages) danced a little which was fun.... for about 10 seconds. then I uninstalled it and doubt I will go near it ever again.

I find no enjoyment from it. The Buzz quiz was enjoyable for 4 attempts and then questions started repeating. I also find that it is full of morons. For the laugh one day I made my character female and the amount of sad bastards who used Home to try and chat me up was ridiculous. I very rarely use it.

    +1

This is the only way home is entertaining.

Glad to see that it's not only me that thinks Home is a bit of a waste of hard drive space!

The whole concept of home just seems flawed from my point of view. I mean you can chat to your friends over the PSN anyway, so why would you ever need to open up home to do that? What added value does home bring to the PSN?

What I'd love to see on the PSN is the avatar idea á la XBox live. I think that's cool. It'd be a blatant ripoff but so what? :D
