Hope this is the wright place.Just wondering how i go about getting these stations viewable.I have them tuned in but the picture it's awful like double vision. My RTE 1 and 2 are perfect.I would like to get these working as the english channels went off today and they would be handy to have a couple of extra channels in the bedrooms and kitchen.Thanks.

You'll need to start getting a clue basically.:p Your ordinary TV by itself won't pick up the UK channels anymore. If you get a freeview box for it, you should be able to watch lots of channels, like BBC3 and Five and Film 4 on it. It's not a guarantee though. Then again, a box like that can be picked up cheaply in the UK or on the net. Almost every flatscreen TV can tune them in without a box too.

To answer your question, as you say RTE 1 and 2 are perfect and TV3 and TG4 are basically unwatchable, I assume you are receiving the Irish channels in Wexford from Mt Leinster with one aerial. To receive the channels from Mt Leinster you require two aerials, an VHF aerial for RTE 1 and 2 and an UHF (Group A or Wideband) aerial for TV3 or TG4 with the two aerial leads combined at the mast.

Regarding the loss of the UK analogue channels you may be able to receive the UK channels again from your aerial by installing a Freeview digital receiver at each tv point, thats what the previously mentioned thread is all about. But as To_be_confirmed posted there is no guarantee you will receive the freeview terrestrial signal. If you can, borrow a freeview receiver or tv from someone and plug in your aerial.

Alternatively install a Freesat receiver and satellite dish.

Talk to your local aerial installer if you're still unsure.

My analogue Irish channels are weak here in Grand Canal Dock, but my Philips TV has an MPEG4 decoder, and not only are the pictures perfect, there is no picture breakup. Actually the pictures are fantastic compared to the UPC digital versions. The EPG is great too.
The only thing is the Digital teletext. RTE only updates the items about twice a week, so you dont get the latest news on text.
    Still its impressive.
