So, I now know that Branflakes are a waste of time. But, if I wanted to add a little something to my diet to move things along(:o) would All-Bran be a good option?
I'm asking cos a change in work patterns lately has meant a change in eating routines, which seems to have had a knock on effect on :o...

Here's the nutrional info. My thoughts: How come so much sugar? (oh, it's the 2nd ingredient)

Also, that's a lot of fibre per 100g. Oats are around 10g fibre per 100g. If you're looking for something to shift things along, I'd say it will do nicely.

You can buy wheat and/or oat bran in most supermarkets, usually beside the porridge, so it would have no sugar added and you could add to whatever you want. I think it is 35% fibre and quite cheap. Also you could get psylium husk which was discussed here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055522503

It probably works out the same as a bowl of oats with psyllium husk added.
But 17% sugar is a little high. Oats+husk is the winner on taste alone imo

I'd also suggest a product you can buy in Boots, they're food-based and totally natural. They're called "Fruits and Fibres". They come in a green box and are little cubes of compressed figs, dates etc. You take one at night with a glass of water and you poop in the morning. They really work. :)

    Thanks for the replies guys,
I have a bag of oatbran in the cupboard at home, so I'll give that a go first.
Now, no more discussing my habits(regular or otherwise!!)
