    Hi,

I just wanted to start this thread for anyone to add their ideas on possible honeymoon destinations, possibly also adding in a short description and a link to appropriate websites.

I'm looking into where I would like to go with my soon to be wife, so looking for inspiration, the more exostic and adverturous/different the better

    All ideas welcome!!

Friends of ours who are musicians went to Nevada, actually the couple in my sig, and loved it. They had the added bonus of management arranging for them to meet some high profile people but all in they cant speak enough of their experience.

Another couple we are friends with went on a motorbiking honeymoon across parts of USA and thorough;y enjoyed it.

My father remarried a few years ago and took a month in the USA visiting various destinations. One of his best memories is going to ground zero and passing the fire station where the intial crew came from. After speaking to a fireman outside he was invited in along with his wife to have a look around and was shown pictures of fighter who lost their lives, as far as I recall 2 were irish and he was told of their lives and hometowns etc. He said it was the Irish accent that led the fireman to invite them inside.

I was looking for somewhere different. Was looking at this: http://www.lajoiedevivre.co.uk/spa-hotel/arabia/oman/al-bustan-palace-intercontinental.htm
Maybe not buy off that particular site, but the hotel and location looks good.
Or maybe Mozambique, some good beach resorts there. I'm looking for a beach holiday for a week.

    yeah, that's more like it.

want to do a little chill out mixed up with some safari, maybe some 'crazy stuff' if we can find the right thing.

know any other good websites for this type of thing?

probably be based around africa / indian ocean. however, as july, so maldives out ;(, so probably some resort on east coast africe (will have to do some research!!)

    thanks for the feedback!

My Partner and I are heading to Orlando for our honeymoon, we can do all the theme parks, go to the beach or just chill out... Without Kids :)

I think maybe the holiday forum might be more useful. We went to Thailand, and went to Bangkok, Chang Mai and Samui which was great. Vietnam sounds like it would be cool as well.
