I should be working by then, so yes, I'd love a bank holiday

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

The way things are going, we probably wont have any banks by 2016 so this is a moot point

To be fair it was just one or two trolls who ruined that thread, AH is capable of mature discussions every now and then

On another note, hated how Bertie used the 90th anniversary to make himself look good.

Yes to Lisbon. Yes to extra Bank holidays.

Yes, because nothing says "Independence from Britain" like a day off to reflect.

    I love sarcasm.

By then we may have about 1% of the Nama bill paid off so we will need a distraction. I voted yes.

We deserve a lot more than a bank holiday.

Am i the only one who finds it shocking that what was started in 1916 still hasn't been finished?

We need to have a 2016 rising.

It's time we liberated D4, once and for all!

Build a wall around it? Hmm, and I wondered where this thread was going! (And why the last one was locked).

Ohh I see your plan. We put a nuclear bomb at a strategic point underground in Dublin, and detonate it. Modern physics will allow us to calculate the position of the bomb so that cracks in the Earth will form around D4. We then get 1000's of heavy-lifting helicopter, lift it up and outta there, and drop it 50km off the coast of Northern Greenland.

Nice idea and that would a great milestone ...but another important thing to consider is the need to be alive to witness it.
