Its not EI-BBV as this was at Abbeyshrule and has a different scheme.

There is a Piper Cub with American airforce paint scheme that is based out of Newtownards.

Not sure of the reg. It may have been visiting

Great Variety of aircraft based up there. Tiger Moth, Chipmunks, RV7,s 4 new Cessna 172s, 152's Slingsby Firefly, Piper cubs, Auster, Tippys nipper, a few piper warriors, loads of micro/ultra lights, a few R22s and an R44, Pitts s1, beautiful BIRD DOG. That's all i remember.

Well worth a visit. Very friendly bunch of people.

    Mystery solved!

Its actually a Wag-Aero Sport Trainer registered G-BVMH.
This is a replica Piper J-3 Cub (kit airplane) and it was built in 1994.

I heard it on Dublin ATC today as it routed to a private site at Adamstown, Trim, Co.Meath.
