Programming a UPC remote

    Is it possible to programme the Black remote that comes with the HD DVR box to work the tv functions....and if so where do i find the codes

    AFAIK I know yes. Here's the manual with the codes.

    I think the HD box hasn't had it's manual put up on the site, I can't get it to operate the tv volume so I went back to the old remote which does the trick.

    I think its setup the same procedure as the normal digital+ remote using the same codes Rosser.

    Thanks mine's working now with a Sony TV - I have to press the 'tv' button to get it to change the sound level, but otherwise all ok

    Still scr*wed :), can get the remote to do everything except the sound. It just keeps bring up the sound bar for the decoder's internal volume control, if I switch to tv mode it will work the tv sound (new Phillips 6,000 series tv)

    The installer kindly left the remote from the non hd box and it does everything fine so it must be 'do-able'....it's driving me nuts!!
