Difficulty using Sky Help Centre Contact page?

Is anybody else having difficulty using the Sky Help Centre contact page?

I've been trying to use the "Account & Billing>Change Package>Downgrade TV" option and for some reason it refuses to accept my telephone number and keeps giving a reply in red: "Please enter a valid telephone number".

I've tried every combination I can think of, gaps, no gaps, dashes, +353 in front of the area code etc etc but it refuses to accept it. You can't submit the query without a telephone number.:mad::mad:

It'd be best if I save you all a lot of time, as I work in the channel downgrades department in Sky Ireland. Phoning is the only way to downgrade the package; the website system has never bloody worked, and by Christ I wish it would, because it would save the amount of hours I get yelled at by customers who were told to phone back on a specific date to keep their billing up to date, forgot to phone back on that day and are blaming us because they didn't think to phone back.

Because all our calls are being recorded (yes, they actually are) I can't say this to people on the phone: If it's slipped your mind, that's not our bloody fault!

Cant do this either and i dont want to downgrade, im looking to join the bloody idiots! Entered lots of valid numbers, even their own which isn't valid so why bother ringing an invalid number :D

They are twats. Obviously they assume our numbers start with +44 !!!

I logged it as an issue with them 3 weeks ago. Glad to see they bothered to fix it.

same here, I am getting the fu&&ing viewing card thing every minute now. No new card has arrived. Cancelling as soon as I can ring them, fed up, pathetic. 6 calls to them to no avail, their web site takes the p1ss and every time you try to complete a survey it bombs out.

I am the same, after repeated calls to them they have done nothing. I am a premium suscriber to Sky for 10 years and they sent my new card out to my old address months ago.

    At last !

That's why I have nothing to do with sky.

A world of free satellite tv and people still deal with sky, the mind boggles!

    CCcam?

Had the same issue with the phone number. Figured out if you enter
    01010101 it accepts this!
