Hello pretty new to golf about six months playing shoot in 90's but have a few pars a round so no totally hopeless. Just want some advice on some getting some new clubs, more forgiving ones and for my standard. Sould i get some custom fitting or buy a second hand set. I play wit some wilson irons pretty old and cheap drivers but a ping g2 5wood which i hit well. Well any advice would be great thanks a mill.

You need a set of the new type cavity backed clubs.
    Most makers produce a set.
Mizuno MX100's are are very good price in McGuirks right now and are as good as any other top end brand from a beginners standpoint.

Or look into Taylor Made Burner Plus, they cost more but you get a custom fit set and have the option of a 4 & 5 hybrid to help the beginner, very usefull.
If you visit the Grange driving range in Kinsealy you can test out all the clubs in the McGuirks range, they have a shop there.... really useful.

A friend of mine is selling a full set of Spalding clubs and a Wilson putter if you'd be interested. There practicall new, maybe been out 3 or 4 times.. I think he's looking for in or around €350-400 for them but he won't refuse a bad offer as he's emigrating. The putter was €130 when he bought it
