Only person I know carrying RWS is Tiernan's in Wilkinstown. And I don't think he's got any of the subsonic stuff in, he's mostly supplying the target shooting stuff (R50 and the like).

I've bought R50 in Crescent Sports in Monkstown. Saw an ad in the ISD last month methinks for a place in Kilkenny stocking RWS products as well. That would probably be your best bet.

Gonna nick this thread slightly. I've used different ammo over the years but have settled on Eley match .22lr. The 1064fps runs best through the gun, but lately i've been getting a few more flyers than normal. I cannot afford the Tenex at approx. €17 per box. Is the R50 as good. I checked their site but they say the same as other manufacturers "most precise round available at the cost". The R50 sounds as though it would be about the same price as the Eley match €10.

    Opinions and advice please.
