I was watching a programme on scifi HD and recording it for the hubby at the same time. While I watched it there was no problems but the sound is way out in the recording like watching a Chinese dubbed film if you know what i mean. What would the reason for this be, is it cause I recorded it on a HD channel and how can i make sure it wont happen again

    Thanks

I sometimes get this when watching a recording, and perhaps pause it, and play it during playback. Usually if it happens I just exit the recording, and flick to a channel and then go back to the recording it works fine.

Not sure if that will work for you or not? Perhaps your issue is slightly different?

I first complained to Sky regarding Sky Hd boxes being slightly out of sync when they first came out and their recommended solution is to connect it to a home surround unit. In the hd menu there is then an option for a slight time delay of the sound.....
