Well I never taught I would agree with Opel on this but they have really produced a great car with the new Astra. Nice exterior and interior and available in 1.4 / 1.6 / Turbo petrol models, and 1.3 / 1.7 and 2.0 CDTI Ecotec models. It's all presented on this very nice site they put together. I would honestly say yes to one. A Focus / Astra hybrid would be one I look forward to though.

    Yeah looks good.

Opel are going down a very good design direction, with the Insignia and now this.

The last Astra wasn't bad either and a significant improvement deisgn-wise over previous models

Ya it looks decent. But the high spec 2l diesel is more expensive than an Audi A3 2.0tdi which is silly. Its nearly as much as a Focus RS

looks nice but its nothing new, they are merely playing catch up to the other manufacturers. It looks very MK2 SEAT Leon/altea to me, hardly breaking new ground.
