    Hi,

specific question for any saucony wearers: what's the difference between the triumph 5 and triumph 6?

I assume the 6 is for 2009 but the local shop only has the 5 on display.

A few of the reviews on wiggle seem to suggest that the shoe was revised for the 6.

I tried on the 5 and the toe box is the right size

    Thanks.

A bit more ProGrid cushioning has been added to the 6th model of the Triumph, which raises the bar on an already well-cushioned shoe. Designed for high mileage, the Triumph 6 delivers good flexibility, a responsive, smooth ride and is ideal for neutral feet and supination.
the above taken from a web site!!!
How do you find the fit compared to the last?there was a serious difference between the triumph 4 and 5.

I'm new to Saucony. I am a New Balance man myself but a summer of niggling injuries that has hampered my performance and amazingly fast wear out on the latest new balances has left me contemplating a new shoe.

I tried on the Saucony and the Mizuno and the Saucony fit was better (in the toe). I like the arch lock system they have as well as it is similar to the New Balance system.

The 5 seemed plush but I kind of resent being sold the old model at the new model price.

i've had three pairs of the triumph 5 and have been the most comfortable shoe i've ran in.got a pair of nike lunarglide last month and i'm regretting it already, got out my old triumphs for the blarney half marathon.if the 6 are better than the 5 it'll be some achievement.
